Ubuntu Dual Boot - recover first partition
I installed ubuntu 13.04 on my workstation, where a previous 12.04 installation was present. Due to work reasons, I had to keep the old ubuntu version alongside the new one. I have a /boot partition where grub is installed. When 13.04 was being installed, it formatted /boot and installed the new version on it, so I cannot access anymore the old ubuntu. If I run update-grub the old ubuntu partition is still recognized, but the problem is that the 12.04 kernel is not present. Is there any way to copy the kernel from the / partition of 12.04 to grub and hence boot in the old OS?
