Can't do anything with Ubuntu Gnome after installation, what to do?
I installed Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 from DVD on my Acer Aspire. It's the only os. When I start the PC it boots and then I see the login screen, but cannot do anything. I see the mouse, and when I move it this also is shown. But there are no hover effects. And when I click on whatever, e.g on my name to login, on a point of the menu, on "Not listed" nothing happens. It also doesn't react when I type. For Example enter should normaly log me in and ask for my password, but nothing happens.
I checked the DVD for mistakes, none were found.
When I boot the DVD and choose "Try Ubuntu Gnome without installing" it always crashes. I moved the mouse on the hot corner to reach the activities section, than nothing worked any more. The interface didn't react on mouse and keyboard anymore.
When I try to start Ubuntu Gnome with Super Grub 2, it finds no operating systems at all.
